Could colour font technology help with dyslexia?

I am wondering if colour font technology could help with dyslexia.

Colour font technology could be used to make a font where each glyph has two colours. So a font with, for examples, a colour part at the left side, or the top left, of each glyph could be made. Would that help lock the orientation of the glyph for a reader who has dyslexia?

Here are some links about existing monochrome fonts and dyslexia.
