I have inherited a rather messy font collection - there are thousands of files and many many duplicates. I have MainType professional. Is there a way that I can use the software to clean up this mess? i.e. just point it at the folder full of folders and files and say “delete duplicates”
MainType will detect exact duplicates, as soon as MainType has indexed all fonts in that folder, you can select them all in MainType, and then export them to a new location. This way you can delete the old folder with the duplicate font files.
I would still recommend to keep a copy in case something goes wrong.
