Is FontCreator tested on Windows Vista?
We have tested our software on Windows Vista Beta 2 and we will do some more testing as soon as we have the final version of Windows Vista. As far as we know there are no serious issues, we only noticed some minor cosmetic issues as shown in the screenshots below. Several existing customers run our software on Windows Vista without problems.
It is in our and your best interest to keep our software compatible with new releases of Microsoft Windows, so we will do everything to stay up to date. That said, even beyond our 30 day money back guarantee, we will refund your purchase in case you notice problems that can’t be solved in a reasonable time frame. Do let me know if you have more concerns.
Here are some recommendations to ensure our software runs the way it should be on Windows Vista:

Here is a screenshot that shows a minor visual glitch (the arrow on the right of the Printer button is not fully visible). This cosmetic issue only appears with the default theme, so switch to the Aluminium theme (View → Theme ->) to get rid of it, or wait for an update.
Here is a screenshot that shows a similar issue within FontCreator. Since FontCreator only supports one theme, you need to wait for an update. Again the functionality isn’t broken, so don’t worry about it.
We received Windows Vista last week and we can confirm MainType works as expected. The glitches we noticed on the beta release are gone, so we assume it was a bug within Windows Vista beta 2. MainType also allows you to install PostScript Type 1 fonts as shown below:
