editted font - saved - not appearing editted

hi all
basically i opened a font i already had
and editted a few letters with some shapes


i saved it
reinstalled it
(also tried renaming it)

however when i open it in any program like pds, word etc its nt appearing editted and only in its normal format.

anyone have any ideas where ive gone wrong

using FC 5.5
on vista

The way I would do this is:

  • Open the installed font
  • Save As to a backup folder
  • Save as again to a working folder
  • Uninstall the original font
  • Edit the working copy
  • Install it.

Control F11 from FontCreator will open the Windows Fonts folder to check if you have two copies of the edit font there.

BTW. Download version 5.6. It is a significant (and free) upgrade.
