MainType shows the Error Message “SQLite 3 library problem (0x73634964)” when starting the program → see attachment.
I just installed the free edition of MainType on Windows 10 Pro 1703 in order to test it (I’m looking for a different font manager than Suitcase Fusion). I did not uninstall Suitcase Fusion I just stopped FMCore, so the two font managers won’t interfere. And I restarted Windows. But this error message keeps showing up. Any idea? Does anybody have the same problem?
Try downloading the installer again. The latest version is build 8.0.0.1126 released on 19th January.
I’m not sure why this happens, but our software checks to see if the used SQLite library is valid, but that validation fails.
I’ll contact you to sort this out.
Would you please double check that is not a beta version?
When I download it indicates version 8.0.0.1126 is latest public release, which is consistent with “MainType - Release History” web page.
Just a typo. It is 1126. I fixed my post.
I do have the latest installer 1126.
I uninstalled and then installed MainType, still the same error message.
We’ve just released maintenance update 8.0.0.1127 which should solve the problem, so do download and install it from the MainType download page, and let us know your results.
