I’m trying to test my current font as TTF/OTF in preview and I get this error message:
I’m using this current build:
Any idea why it’s this font the error occurs and not the other ones I have?

What version of the software are you using? Please check for updates.
Upload the error messages again and edit your post.
Do send us a font project and we will look into this.
This is my font project that causes the error message.

I think the problem is due to some lookups that use anchors that are not available.
We’ve redesigned the way we process anchors with FontCreator 13, so the problem is solved with the latest release.
Since we don’t want to force people into upgrading, we have to see if we can release another v12 to fix his problem.
Is there any way I can look up the source of the problem anchors using the address/access violation and just fix it on my end? I’ve been working on this font for a while and didn’t come up with any issues with the preview testing feature until I reworked the OTFs and added a few more anchors and just updated the positioning the marks attach to the base glyphs and ligatures.
ALSO note this current build of FontCreatorPro does not allow updates. Go to Help > Check for Updates and you’ll get an Access Violation address at 00000000000.
Expect an update with a fix tomorrow.
Thank you for letting us know. There is indeed an issue with check for updates. We will look for a workaround.
I don’t get any error with check for updates in FontCreator 12 build 2566. It tells me that FontCreator 13 is available. Try closing your font project first.
We fixed that issue by sending other update information from our website.
We’ve just released FontCreator 12.0.0.2567 which solves the problem. This release is for all customers who are not ready to upgrade to FontCreator 13 yet. You can get it through the Check for Updates feature.
