[FIXED] Postscript names corrupted

Hello High Logic,

I believe there is a bug in the latest update of FontCreator. The PostScript names for some glyphs have become corrupted. I first noticed this on my own font where all but one name had been corrupted. However when checking an installed font at random I noticed the same problem. See attached screenshot.

Will I need to rename all glyphs if I save my font in this state?

Ian

I can’t reproduce this. Can you please send the original and modified version of the font file to me?

Also let me know the exact version of FontCreator as well as your O.S.

We’ve finally been able to locate and fix the problem (thanks to DP).

Do use the auto update feature within FontCreator (or download from the download page) to get the latest version (at the time of this writing version 6.2.0.259).

Thanks Erwin - fast response as usual. DP

Thank you for the fix. That’s perfect timing.
