It works just fine if I save that as an .svg file and import it.
Copy and paste through the clipboard is always tricky as usually there are numerous formats copied to the clipboard. We might need a short remote desktop session to understand the exact problem.
Thank you for your time today with the desktop sharing session. The issue seems to be related to the fact you use our font editor on a Mac, and somehow Parallels seems to remove the vector based data formats from the clipboard. Then FontCreator only sees the raster based .png format, and in this case the fill color of the outline is too light, so it is not considered to be part of the outline.
Maybe the issue is solved with a more recent version of Parallels, so let us know if that solves the problem.

I’ve upgraded to Parallels 19 (latest) and tried to copy from FC to Illustrator and it pastes string: “Font Data” instead of the shape
