- Select a glyph contour or contours
- Open the Transform Toolbar, Position tab
- Enter a new x and/or y position and apply it.
The position of the glyph is unchanged. Also doesn’t work for moving nodes.

Confirmed. This bug will be fixed with the next upcoming release.
The bug is not fixed with build 353.
Not so fast! The upcoming release is not available
For some reason, updates are going into the default folder, instead of patching my custom installation, so I got an update when I checked for one.
My custom installation is still build 345. I copied all of the files across from the default install to update it

But the waiting is killing me… I use this feature a lot.
You can do this with the Glyph Transformer just as easily, or more easily — applying a fixed position to a range of glyphs
With practice, you can do it almost as fast for a single glyph with the cursor keys while watching the status bar co-ordinates (bottom left corner only):
I see. But that does not really solve my problem related individual points… (at least I can’t see that it does)
Right now, I can attempt to change the value of a specific coordinate to anything, press apply… no update. I want to be able to manipulate points individually by value not with mouse selection.
It won’t be long before the update arrives, but meanwhile you can select individual nodes with the q and w shortcuts, then move them with to the desired position with the the cursor keys. Mouse selection allows you to select several nodes at once, which is useful for moving lines while keeping them horizontal or vertical.
Ah true. And I am using keys… that works for now.
This bug is fixed now — check for updates if you don’t yet have the latest build (currently 368).
No, the bug is still no fixed yet - build 371
and in
Transform → Bearings Tab
Option: “set left side bearing point at x=0” - doesn’t work properly as well
This bug is fixed for me — both for contour mode and points mode.
It works fine for me in contour mode. In point mode, I find that the first edit works OK, but in order for any further changes to ‘take’ I need to click in the glyph edit window after pressing ‘Apply’ in the Transform dialog.
There was still an issue there. It will be solved later this week.
