also everything is all slow when this happens too. i am guessing this is because it is processing or loading everything. is there any way to speed it up and make it run smoothly when there are lots of points?
You might find it easier to draw complex contours on paper and scan them in. Disable real-time glyph validation on the Validation toolbar (F7) that might solve the display problem. I have never noticed that problem, but then I have never tried to draw such a complex contour with the insert contour tool.
I can confirm that it does begin to flicker with real-time validation on, when drawing a complex contour.
Edit: Disabling real-time validation doesn’t help.
