Font Creator 5.6 running under Vista

I upgraded my PC from XP to Vista. When running Font Creator 5.6 I noticed two problems:
1- pressing F5 causes a slow response whereas in XP it used to be instanteneous. Also all the gliphs seem to go through a refresh cycle.
2- Saving the file is also slow.
3- During this morning’s session my PC hang-up, totally, and I had to do a hard-reset. This has never happened before with any other program. At the time of the hang-up I was using two programs: Photoshop CS2 and Font Creator 5.6.

My PC is dual core 3GHz. top specs with plenty of RAM.
Is this a real problem?

I’m running FontCreator on Windows Vista without any problems. Maybe you have anti-virus software that causes the delays/ hangs.

I am also using Vista and use FontCreator almost every day and haven’t had any problems. I don’t use Photoshop, but I do run InDesign and Acrobat at the same time.
