I’m rebuilding my system after a Windows 10 crash. I can’t find the data file for my Font Groups. Does anyone know where this is?
It is better to make backups on a regular basis, and restore your latest backup through FmsConfig. You can access it through MainType’s main menu → Tools → Create and Restore Backups. This is further explained in the manual.
If you don’t have such backup, then you might be able to manually restore the data if you still have access to your old drive’s data. The original data files are located here:
C:\ProgramData\High-Logic FontService
You need to copy cache, data, and vault to your new system. This can only be done while the font service it stopped. This can also be done through FmsConfig.
