Sorry to appear dim…still a learner.

I want to send my font to people to test for me, but don’t know if I need to make it secure and if I do, how?

Is it easy for anyone to copy and modify your font?

Yes, its easy to copy and modify fonts. Unless you’re willing to hire lawyers to pursue copyright infringements there is not much you can do to protect it.

Some designers create a so-called Demo font with missing letters so the font can be viewed and tested yet not be a fully functional.
