I just downloaded the trial version of Main Type today. I have never used a font manager program. I can see all the fonts in my C:/Windows/Fonts folder, but I cannot see fonts located outside of this folder - the ones that are not installed. At the Browse Tab, under the Preview text area is displayed “Font not accessible”. The font type is also listed as unknown, but the font is listed as a TTF font in Windows Explorer. I thought maybe I had to load the font. I tried that and got the message that it failed to load the font. What am I doing wrong? I am running Windows ME operating system.
Strange. Can you send a copy of the font directly to me? I’ll see if I can identify your problem.
Did you look in the folder where your uninstalled fonts are stored?
