Fonts showing up differently on separate computers

So I’ve been editing a font that I’ve created a while back. After I add my new characters in there or make changes, it seems to look fine on my computer after installing. But when it’s on some of my other computers, I can’t see the new characters/changes that I’ve made. They don’t show up in the font preview screen either. It’s sort of weird, some computers it works fine, other’s it won’t. Any ideas?

The ones that it won’t work on are both running XP and have Office 07, if that helps. I can’t really find any other differences besides that. Thanks!!

Did you first uninstall the previous copy of the font?

If so, do give MainType a try, as it will most likely reveal what goes wrong.

Sometimes problems of this kind resolve themselves if the computer is switched off and then restarted.

On a PC running Windows, sometimes if a font is already installed and is then deleted and replaced with another font with the same name and/or the same file name then the old version is used until the computer is rebooted.
