grayscaling

On the FAQ page, you write : “Another solution [for bad quality at small font sizes] is grayscale support. To enable it select Grayscale from the Format menu. Delete all entries. Now add a new entry and set “Grayscale rendering”.”
I tried entering some new gasps, but without any success ; nothing has changed. The font I made is based upon Times New Roman, so I tried entering the same limits as in the original font, but even that doesn’t have any effect.
Can you give me any advice on what limits to use, or how I could solve the problem?

Thanks,

Peter
