Grid Lines and Metrics Lines

When I use FontCreator 7 I like to have the grid lines set at 256 16 Light Orange Solid and the metrics lines as Blue Solid.

I find that every time I start a new project or study an existing font, such as one that I have just made with Scanahand 4, that I have to set the grid lines and metrics lines.

Would it be possible to have a facility to set the default setting for grid lines and metrics lines please?

I support this. Every time I start a new project I turn off the grid lines.

Here’s my suggestions:

Give the ability of globally change Grids, Guidelines and Metrics options

I would also support this.

Maybe with a different default for italic and upright.

But just to be able to set a default for both would be good.
