Hi there,

When I recently updated to 5.1 I had a new build pc so was starting from scratch. I had created a bunch of fonts in various folders (Sans, Serif etc) which when importing into Maintype I chose to generate the folders so I have the same folder structure in Maintype as on my PC. What I’ve realised is that if I add a new folder (to the PC) this does not get added to Maintype. Any fonts in the new folders will be added to the library but I presumed that the folder structure would update to reflect changes on my PC.

Is there any way I can get it to update the Maintype folders so they are always the same as those on my hard drive?

You need to create them after refreshing the font folder.

Note: it will not replace your current groups, so in this case it is probably best to delete the former groups.
