having trouble with fonts changing when I install them

Hello,
This program is great.
I created a new font in regular, bold, italic, and bold italic. When I go to install them it, the italic converts itself to bold italic, and the regular converts to bold. Then the 2nd try, the regular stayed regular and the bold does not show up at all. Every time I uninstall and reinstall the four versions of the font, I only get two that show up…the other two “convert” right in the folder…I am going crazy… I followed the naming conventions carefully… what am I doing wrong?

I had the same problem the first time around.

Amazing how smart we can become with just a little use of the old noodle.
