I would absolutely love if I could sort fonts in my Groups by date added. What are the odds of this being implemented?
MainType 4 allows you to manually sort your groups by any order using drag and drop.
The method that I used was to let MT create groups automatically from my font folder structure, which is in alphabetical order, with some subfolders, also in alphabetical order, but they can be rearranged easily with drag and drop. Here, I have dragged the OpenType group to the bottom of the Serif Applications folder.
This is already possible, simply rightclick on one of the columns in the font list and enable the “Date added” column. You can now sort the list by left-clicking on the “Date added” column header
