How to create non english font (E.g:Hindi, Telugu)

Hi,

I wanted to create new non english font (Asian font nameTelugu). Please let me know the procedure that i need to follow to create new non english font or point me to an article using FontCreator tool.

I would suggest downloading the Pothana Telugu font package, and read the documentation carefully. It will tell you far more than I can.

Creating your own Telugu font is a major task that will need OpenType features as well as a customised keyboard to use it. I suspect that the GNU license allows you to modify the Pothana font using your own designs, but do read the license agreement carefully before doing that.
