How to delete or tag duplicates

I have a LOT of fonts and many duplicates. I can see how to identify them, but I have over 5000 duplicates and that many cannot be deleted by MainType.

How do I tag them as duplicates?

  1. Add a new tag named “Duplicates”
  2. Select the Library View
  3. Select Duplicates from the Library menu
  4. Tag the selected fonts as duplicates

I am sure it is right in front of me - but how do I tag fonts?

I have made a “duplicate” tag and got all the duplicates highlighted, but I cannot see how to apply a tag to a font
