How to delete unnecessary symbols?

I’ve got some font ttf, and I want to reduce its size.
I need only ascii symbols - “0123456789-:,.” and some others.
How can I remove unnecessary symbols which I don’t need?

Select them in the glyph overview window using Shift Click or Ctrl Click, and press delete.

yes, but it’s a long time to search, because the font has many like symbols and they thrown about :frowning:

so, I already used an other application, which shows symbols in other view - more suitable. I just select codes I need, inverted selection and pressed del :smiley:

You can sort the font, and you can invert the selection from the edit menu after selecting the glyphs you want to keep (don’t forget the .notdef glyphs and other essential glyphs at the start of the font).

indeed i could sort :blush: I didn’t know about sorting. it’s because of premoderating posts I hadn’t known this earlier. :smiley:
