If I scan an image of a font, it tends to have several glyphs on it. It would be nice if, in Import Image, I could drag a rectangle in the graphic, and it would import only that part.
I know I can let it Import the whole thing and then use copy & paste to split it into individual characters. Hence why this is not terribly important.
Although I like this enhancement, I’m not going to add it to version 5.1. I’ll put it on the future to-do list and for now focus on some more important enhancements, features and bugs.
What I do is load the entire image in Irfan View (say a scan of the whole alphabet), then select one letter with the marquee, copy that to the clipboard, and paste it into Font Creator.
