Hello, I have an old invitation card that used different types of fonts. I was wondering if it’s possible to make a scan of the card and import all the letters to the font creator originating the font, instead of cut each letter one by one.

Though you can paste more than one letter into each glyph, its just as easy to passte them one by one, as it is to paste several at once then move them one by one.
Its unlikely an invitation card will include all of the letters and digits needed for a font, but if you use the “Include Outlines” option when starting a new font, that will give you some generic punctuation characters and digits, which can be modified later to match your font.
My experience is you loose a significant amount of detail if the import image is too small and you can’t make it big enough to keep the detail. Importing single letters, alternatively small groups of letters, works best.
