In FontCreator I am attempting to open an installed font (Open Type) and make changes and then reinstall that font into my Windows Font folder. When I attempt to open InDesign to type with the new font it does not appear in my font list. When I open the file up again in FontCreator the changes that I made to the original font are still retained. I’ts in the Windows Font folder but my computer doesn’t recognize the new font. So I’m not sure what step I’m missing in the intallation or naming process. Can you help?
Fonts MUST be un-installed to make changes!
It is safest to give it a new name before changing and re-installing it.
