I use Helvetica all the time - and every time I have to install it !!
If/when I try to copy the font to windows/fonts it won’t copy. That leaves me to install it all the time - very frustrating! I thought when i click on “install” or “copy to folder” it meant what it said - but it doesn’t!
Does anybody have a solution?

I have never noticed any problem like this. Does it happen with other fonts, or only with Helvetica?
What version of Windows are you using?
Do you have adminstrator rights?
Based on your earlier post, I assume you have this problem with Windows Vista Ultimate Edition. I don’t know why the problem occurs, so I need to try it myself in order to find the cause. So can you please send the font files to me?

Yes, I use Ultimate…
I can see the properties for the fonts referes to a external harddisk i have - even if I have tried to copy the font to windows/fonts
I then looked in the windows/fonts folder and could see the Helevetica fonts were there, and the status was “uninstalled”?
Oh oh - Erwin. Tell me - when I load/unload fonts should I do this from the windows/fonts folder???
