Is the evaluation version has the full features enabled?

Hi,

I’m currently trying to make a very simple font set with a evaluation version of FontCreator, however, I got some problems that I can’t export font files as expected.

You can try FontCreator version 7 during the 30-day evaluation period. Most features are fully enabled, however when you export, test, or install a font, the font will contain a subset of the existing characters. This allows you to test your font in other applications, like Adobe Indesign, word processing software, web sites, etc.

These characters will be exported (provided the exists in the font project) while running the software during the evaluation period:
ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ
abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz
0123456789
.,!?-=/@
and ligatures fi and fl

Note: The whole font will be fully saved in your font project file which you can use to export your complete fonts as soon as you’ve bought a license.

But do you mean I can’t export fonts with my custom icons with a evaluation version of FontCreator ?

If you’re creating a symbol font, then I guess you will still be able to export the same limited set of characters. Or, create your custom icons in the code-points for A-Z, a-z, etc., instead of in the symbol character sets.

You can export the characters as mentioned earlier. It’s up to you how you design the glyph outlines for these characters.
