keep leading white space

I’m trying to import a bmp (or jpg,gif). The bmp has some white space either at the far left or the far right.

Font creator seems to be clipping the white spaces off and only bringing in the black.

Is there a way to force the leading or end white spaces to be imported?

Add crop marks to the bitmap at bottom left and bottom right corners, then delete the crop marks in Font Creator. Drag the left crop mark to the right before deleting it to avoid changing the left side-bearing.
