I use Font Creator to make scripts for constructed languages in my books, but one of them I’m having an issue with. When viewed in some programs, such as Excel or Word, a large amount of space is inserted above the glyphs.
However, in Font Creator’s test window, it looks just fine.
Raster graphics programs don’t seem to have a problem with it either.
I’m using Japanese kana as the input system, but this isn’t the first time I’ve done so, and the previous font I had that uses them works just fine. So I know there’s got to be something in Font Creator I can do to fix this problem.
Anyone run into a similar experience? I’ve tried messing around with the metrics, but it doesn’t seem to change matters any.
