The following thread offers a public domain Unicode font in a file named Tuffy6.ttf which font includes the characters for Latvian.

New, to someone at least, fonts for teachers.

“Same fiddle; different tune.” Here are two fonts developed from TUFFYMH4.ttf which was in turn developed from the public domain font of Thatcher Ulrich, namely Tuffy.ttf. TUFFY5.ttf is, I hope, an improved version of TUFFYMH4.ttf. Suggestions and advice from Forum members was duly heeded. Thank you to them.
