Hi Guys,

MainType crashed my system about 3 times over the last few weeks, previous to that was about a month ago. Seems very random.

I have just the basic windows core fonts installed + some others, vista 64-bit, SP1 + latest updates.

any ideas what’s causing the blue screens?

We can’t confirm this issue yet, but we do have a newer (unofficial) release that hopefully solves the BSOD. Do send me a message which proof of your license, and I’ll send you a link to the latest release.

Hello,

I just bought MainType after trying it for the past few days. Great Program!

I’m having the same blue screen. It happened pretty much the first time I opened it, and just now I nearly lost what I was working on for over an hour, but Indesign restored the file. whew!

What’s causing this error to happen??, seems it’s when I have illustrator or indesign open that causes it. :frowning: …I’m using vista x64 SP2

It could be a bug in your video driver, in MainType, or in one of your Adobe products. And there are thousands of other reasons as well…

Do you have more information about this issue?

And what version of MainType do you have?
