In the manual is section 5.4.3.3 Advanced Editing.

The Advanced Editing Features allow you to import OpenType Layout Features from existing fonts. If you want to view the OpenType Layout Features from the font you are currently editing, choose Extract fromthis font… from the Tools menu or choose Extract from other font… to select another font.

Note: Advanced Editing Features are only available in the Professional Edition of FontCreator

I have not been able to find that feature.

I am using the Professional Edition.

Any ideas please?

Open the OpenType Layout Feature editor (main menu → Font → OpenType Layout Features), then you’ll see the Tools menu.

I was looking under the Tools menu from the main menu bar. I had not realized that there was a Tools menu within the OpenType Layout Feature editor.
