I have tried several times to have a font made out of my own handwriting but haven’t gotten one I have liked. I finally thought maybe I could use this software and the ready-made ones to make one that I am satisfied with. I am currently working with two different ones–they were made at two different places so one of them has better small letters than the other. My question is, is there a way to combine the Capitals, Numbers, and Symbols made from one and the small letters made from another into one final font?
Sure, you can use copy and paste from within the Glyph Overview window.
You have to be careful when modifying commercial fonts. Most are protected by copyright. My own fonts are released on GNU license so you can modify them and rename them provided you retain the same license terms.
