Reading the copyright notice on page 2 of the manual - according to that, I cannot even print a copy for myself to have available when I am working with the program. I only have one computer and cannot display the manual while having the program open and either editing a font!
My printer is so slow that it would take 2 or more days to print the 293 pages of the manual and I wanted a commercial printing firm to make me a bound copy of it, but they cannot due to the copyright notice! I understand your concerns, but not being able to print one copy for personal use by REGISTERED users of your already expensive software is a disservice to the users.

You (and all other customers) are hereby granted permission to make copies and print the user manual for your personal use.
Thank you! I pay pretty close attention to the law, and too many times it’s impossible to copy something like that, even when it’s only for personal use without breaking the law. I’ve even seen several manuals that had built in trackers to make sure they weren’t copied. IMO that’s a bit overkill, LOL.

Erwin, thank you again. I took a screen shot of this thread along with the PDF file of the manual to my local blueprint facility here. They wouldn’t print it yesterday due to the copyright notice (rightly so), but when I showed them your reply and the permission for all users to print the manual for their personal use, they agreed to print me one copy and once it was printed and bound, they would destroy the PDF file I left with them.
