NEWBIE desperately wants to convert signature into a font

At the risk of sounding like a complete idiot is there anyone out there that can just give me step by step instructions on converting a scanned signature into a font. I have looked in the manual and looked at other people’s messages and I am not understanding.

I’d really appreciate it.

If you’re desparate, better get someone to do it for you. It is not that easy to do that one could learn in a few hours, and it would take more than a few hours to explain in detail if the manual is not enough to get you started.
