I am trying to develop Trihuta Script , but when i go to test TTF words not change !
Please help me
A couple things. There is a feature from what I can see in the screen shot that is declared as Unknown. It needs to be a known feature.
Second, in the row of three feature drop down lists down near the bottom left, it reads Auto, Auto, Kerning. The one that says kerning should be either Custom or All Known.
Until you fix the first issue, though, the feature Maithili will not show up, therefore the ligatures will not show up for testing.
I am assuming the (tirh) is a language-dependent declaration? In any case, try opening up the Code Editor at the bottom of the OT Designer window and changing the Unknown (tirh) to DFLT. Then try again.
I have not used language-dependent OT features before. But you may also need to add the language to the font’s properties, Custom tab. Dunno. Never have done this before.

I think you should be able to test most features directly in the OpenType dialogue by enabling the checkboxes.
I don’t see the features active in the list at the bottom that control the ligs. Maybe my eyes are tired…
Indeed, you need to check the features to enable them.
Please any one help …
The script tag “tirh” that you are using isn’t defined in the OpenType specification, so I don’t think it will work.
You could try to include the features under Default (DFLT) script with Default language. Let us know if this helps.
Update July 2016: FontCreator 10 includes support for the tirh script tag.
Script Change to Default but not change Ligature…
You are not being specific enough to understand what you are trying.
Do try inside FontCreator’s preview area, then in Firefox, then in Word, and let us know your results.
Language Name is Maithili & Writing Script name is Tirhuta
It might help if you provide the font project file along with some text and a short description of the problem.

It will work if you add a “Default” language to the “Tirhuta” script. Just right-click the “Tirhuta (tirh)” script, and select “Add”.
I’ve added the Ligature to the StandardLigatures1 feature, as that one is always enabled by default. You might want to move it to a more appropriate feature.
I am not fin Tirhuta Script
As Erwin said earlier:
This is a change since Unicode version 9.0.
I am using Windows 8 & MS office 2003, so not working TEST TTF/OTF ?
I don’t think it’s a surprise that a script that has been recently added isn’t supported in 13 year old software
Tirhuta has been added to OpenType specification version 1.7 which was officially released March 2015.
It is also good to know Windows text rendering for complex script is implemented in usp10.dll which is known as the the Uniscribe Unicode script processor library.
It works just fine on my main computer, running Windows 10 and Word 2016. It has usp10.dll version 10.0.10586.0 dated 2015-10-30.
It won’t work on my old PC, running Windows 7 and Word 2007.
