We are evaluating FontCreator as a possible solution to develop image fonts for use with an AVL (Automatic Vehicle Location) application. The application comes with pre-defined font images of a few vehicles but not enough selection for our use. We were hoping to use FontCreator to add to this existing font collection but use actual photo images of the vehicles in our fleet. I have tried to import a test jpg image but with poor results caused by the conversion routine. Is there a way to import an original color image of a vehicle and use it as one of the fonts?
