This (I hope) is an easy question to answer, one of the users of my recent font creation has had a problem with a Xerox colour printer on his network. The font throws up an error message instead of the image of the font character. On his black/white printers there is no problem. Anyone got a solution?
Not enough information to go on.
What is the error message?
Where is the font so that we can look at it?
Hi Rob,
Thanks for sending the font to me. The glyphs are very basic, so the problem isn’t related to complex outlines. I’ve made two modifications that might solve the issue.
Wash Care ISO2_HL_1.ttf - I’ve lowered the Contents and Layout version from 2 to 1.
Wash Care ISO2_HL_2.ttf - Additionally I’ve modified several PostScript names, to ensure they follow Adobe’s glyphs name recommendations.
If the first font doesn’t work, do try the second one. This way we can find out which modification did the trick. If both fail, let us know and we’ll do our best to find a solution.
