I was making Arabic font, and it was already applied in Microsoft Word. But after typing in one file so I closed and I opened for the second time, I was finding the font was changed. How to overcome this problem?

i have already installed my font into windows system. but when i used microsoft word, i didn’t find my font on the complex sripts list. what am i supposed to do?

Yes, my font contains openType layout for arabic and indeed I am making an Arabic font

It all turns out the code page character ranges misses Arabic, and that is important to Microsoft Word.
FontCreator automatically disable it as there aren’t enough Arabic characters in the font, so you have to manually include Arabic.
Go to the Font Properties dialog. Then on the Ranges tab, click the Edit button for Code Page Character Ranges. Then check Arabic. Finally ensure you disable “Automatically update character ranges..”.

We’ve just released a maintenance update which solves this problem, so you no longer need the work-around I suggested earlier today.
