Protect fcp. file

Hello,
Just an idea, if we could put a password when we save a project to protect fcp. file so if the designer send fcp. to any one or any website, only owner of password could open it. I wish to do this through Fontcreator… thank you

There is not much benefit in doing this from within FontCreator. Just use any archiving program.

Note too, that archiving the project files for a full family of typefaces will save significantly on file size, reducing to 67% or less.

Also even if you could encrypt the project file a font designer could still open the font file in FC. You can’t encrypt the font file without stopping users from installing the font.
