Hi,
I have an existing font: dotmat.ttf. I am trying to modify it so that bold size will be double width of the regular size.
Could you please tell me what the right way is to accomplish that in Font Creator?
Thanks a lot,
JW

Clarification needed.
Do you just want the advance width to be exactly double and the glyph to be stretched horizontally? Or do you want the stroke width to be twice as thick ?
Hi Bhikkhu,
Thank you for your reply and excuse my so dumb question. This is the first time I am using the software.
Yes, I need the bold size in fixed double width and double strokes.
After trying several times, I kind of figure out a way to “sovle” the problem but not sure if it is correct. I create a new font with regular size, and a new font with bold size. They are using the same font family name. Then I copy glyphs from regular one to the bold one. Set global advance width to be fixed width of double size. Then for each glyph, copy all the black squares (sorry about the terms ) and make it double strokes.
Would this work? Thanks.
I have another question regarding editing the strokes inside of different sizes. I will post a seperate topic.
