Question regarding the watermark in the Professional version

Hi there. I have the professional version of FontCreator 13. I have created a couple different fonts for use in CorelDraw since I use that for design. What is happening is that if the font is converted to shapes, then the letters will disappear and convert themselves to the watermark that is used in the trial version. I was curious to know if there is a way to keep that from happening. Thanks =)

EDIT: This also affects my printing capabilities. The letters will print as the watermark.

It does not happen here. Can you share a sample font project with us that behaves in this way?

I’ve attached the particular font project that I am having issues with.
Punch Condensed.fcp (102 KB)

No problem with your font here.

From where did you purchase your FontCreator license?

The project was made with an unlicensed copy of FontCreator. You can buy a license here:
https://www.high-logic.com/buy-now

I created the font while I was on the trial, and purchased it directly from the High-Logic website

Did you enter the registration code yet?

Can you send us the font file as well?

It looks like CorelDraw has cached your previous version of the font. I am not sure if it has such caching mechanism and if you can flush it. The most easy way to overcome the problem is to give the font a different name and install and use that.

Do you have the same issue with Word?

In your case I strongly recommend to remove the content in the Typographic Family and Subfamily fields.

I did enter the registration code. At that point it removed the watermark from the visible print on the screen. Just not actual printing.

If you mean the installed font file, then yes, I can do that in the morning. I have not tried Word, as this font is not used for any type of documents. However, I will test it out and see what I get.

I had cleared all versions of this font from CorelDraw along with a restart, so I will try renaming it and then leaving the suggested fields blank as my next step.

I won’t be able to get back to it until tomorrow afternoon sometime as other parts of my job will have me busy.

I really appreciate the time you folks are taking to help me out!

Alright guys, I did a couple of wipes of Coreldraw and cleared the font out of the windows folder as well. It took two restarts to get rid of it from Coreldraw for whatever reason. I Saved the project under a new name, and also removed the Typographic Family and Subfamily fields. BTW, it was working fine in Word when I printed it from there prior to these steps. So it must have been something in Coreldraw.

It is working now, so I thank you guys for helping me out. It was very much appreciated!
