I’m working on a font which I cannot save after sorting the glyphs. FontCreator reports a Range check error. Any idea what causes this problem?
It looks like you have discovered a bug. Can you send the font file to me, so I can try to reproduce it?

It took me a while to figure this one out. The range check error will even occur when you just open and save the font without any changes. There is one composite glyph (Postscript name: uni00A0, glyph index: 1023) that causes the problem.
For now just make the glyph empty and you’ll be able to save it.
I’m not sure if it is a bug within the font or due to FontCreator, but as soon as I find the real cause I’ll let you know.
Thank you very much for your prompt reaction. Thanks to your help I’ve been able to save the font. Probably the original font already had some flaws.
