Recalculating Average Character Width

I used FontCreator 5.6 ,in which there is a feature in the tools-options-font-Recalc average char width, but I can’t find it in the version 9.1…

I explored the font always disable it, but now I can’t use it in the new version.

The value is a calculated value. It can be seen in the Font Information from the Font menu.

thanks for replying…
But i want to Cancel the election when i export this font…if not, some characters’ width in this font will be changed…
now ,i can’t find this feature…

Nothing will be changed. Advance width is set in the font. Average character width is just a calculated value like CapsHeight or x-height. It has no affect on the glyphs in your font.
