I am editing a font. I have deleted the original from the windows font file. Still, when I try to use “save as”, it is not available. Using “save” results in a dialog box that states that the file is in use by Windows. What have I done wrong?

Perhaps you’re trying to save the font to the WINDOWS/FONTS folder. Try saving to a different folder.
I don’t even get the option of designating a folder. The “save as” command doesn’t work at all.
