I think it would be nice if in the Columns view you could see what groups each font belongs to. I used a program called (freeware) “AMP Font Viewer” which would tell you which of your fonts was NOT assigned to a group. That was REALLY handy. Perhaps the Column would tell me which Groups each font belonged to.

I second this feature request very much.
I am trying to organise my fonts into groups. Being able to display a ‘Groups’ column in the Active and Browse tabs in the Fonts pane would allows users to:
–confirm that a fonts is already categorised into a group(s)
–identify uncategorised fonts
–sort fonts by group
Please would you consider this for the next version of MainType?
This request sounds really useful, so we certainly try to include it in a future release.

Hello, y’all! I hope nobody has forgotten about this idea! I still don’t see it in Build 417.
There’s now a Groups column that says whether or not a font is included in a group or not.
There is also a column for Tags, which will show a list of all tags that have been applied to a font, so I think we can say that this request has been implemented.
