I have been experimenting with producing a font which simulates the look of paper, including a watermark.

I have added a pdf document to the web. It is an experimental publication simulating paper behind the text, including simulating a watermark. Viewing at 800% in Acrobat Reader is a useful technique for studying the experiment.
