I edited a Unicode tamil font but while exporting it as TTF file, it displays some error message but the font file is saved correctly. I installed the exported font and the font did not work as Unicode font. I did not find a detailed help for working with Unicode font
First of all, which version of Font Creator are you using?
I am not familiar with the Tamil language, but I suspect that it needs to use OpenType features to work correctly. Please check this earlier thread, which may help. It seems that Required Ligatures are not enabled by default in MS Word.
It might help to attach the original font and your edited version that doesn’t work correctly.
This Microsoft document may provide some useful information: Tamil OpenType specification.
