Test font under Win7 shows Arial letters for those characters not included in the font. My font does not have numbers but does have semi colon, colon, and more.
In Test Font, when the punctuation is on a different line from the numbers, it is displayed as in the font*.
When the carriage return is simply deleted and the punctuation resides on the same line as the numbers, it is displayed as Arial**.
(Windows 7, newly installed. FC 6.5)
*Except the colon after the 9 which is Arial.
**Now both colons are Arial.
Any idea on how to fix this?
I tried one more test and find when the numbers are on same line as punctuation you get the Arial.
If one a different line my font comes back. Any idea on how to fix this? Any idea on how to fix this?
I don’t draw so that’s impossible… but hey, can I use a set of yours? They look good mostly.
Must be something to do with that font as another one I’m working on didn’t have that problem…???
I’ll attach the font from the prior thread. Wirtschafts Italic.ttf (48.4 KB)
('member, it’s in progress.)
That’s why “Include Outlines” is the default when starting a new font. You could just start a new project, bold italic, and copy the glyphs, using Paste Special to copy them to new empty glyphs.
The license on my other fonts also allows you to copy them to yours. Odana is probably the most suitable.
